TOWN BOARD MEETING
Wednesday March 25, 2009 7:00PM TOWN HALL

Dennis Meis, Supervisor 6 Town Residents/Visitors

The Board met at 6:45 to inspect new truck.

Maurice King called the meeting to order at 7:00pm
Agenda Items
Minutes - William Kolodziej read the minutes from the March 4th 2009 meeting. Gary Kolodziej motioned to accept the minutes. Dennis Meis 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0

Citizens wishing to address the Town Board – none

Liquor License – Dennis Meis moved to approve the liquor license for Amy Springer – Beach House Bar & Grill. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed 3-0

Town Insurance – Dennis Meis moved to table action until the next board meeting. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed 3-0 The board needs to have Rural Mutual get answers to good Samaritan coverage.

AT&T Wireless Telecommunications Facility – Dennis Meis moved to support the request for a special exception from the provisions of the Portage County Wireless Telecommunications Facility Ordinance to allow a tower at the Arnold Carlstrom property on Sunset Drive. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 3-0

Town Property Logging – Gary Kolodziej will contact DNR forester to finalize the proposal.

Town Website – William Kolodziej provided an update on the Towns Website. The website is up and running. Meeting agendas should be on in a month.

Street Sweeper – We will send the Town of Hull a letter stating we may be interested in renting a street sweeper if they buy one.

Reassessment – The board will look into postponing revaluation with the town Assessor.

Comprehensive Plan – Gary Kolodziej moved to have the public review of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map on April 29th 5:00pm to 9:00pm and May 2nd 10:00am to 2:00pm and to have a public hearing on the Comprehensive plan and Zoning Map on May 13th 7:00pm. Dennis Meis 2nd the motion. Motion passed 3-0

Charging for copies – Sarah is looking into fees.

Correspondence was reviewed.

Maurice King gave a brief report on Town activities. Finishing vehicle maintenance and grading.

Treasurers and Clerks reports for February were reviewed and balanced.

Bills were approved and paid

Meeting dates – April 1st &15th Annual meeting on April 14th

Adjournment – Dennis Meis motioned to adjourn at 9:26pm. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
