TOWN BOARD MEETING

Maurice King called the meeting to order at 7:00pm
Agenda Items
Minutes - William Kolodziej read the minutes from the June 3rd meeting. Dennis Meis motioned to accept the minutes as amended. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0
Citizens wishing to address the Town Board – none
Liquor, Cigarette and Operator Licenses – Dennis Meis moved to approve the Liquor, Cigarette and Operator Licenses as presented except for Kali Matthias due to not completing the application correctly. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 3-0
Chip Seal/ or Slurry Seal - Gary Kolodziej moved to hire Fahrner Asphalt to single chip seal Lilac, Scenic Circle and Dewey Drive (Maple to Reserve) and double chip seal Scenic Drive and to hire Struck & Irwin to double slurry seal Dewey Drive Willow Springs to Torun for $31,924.80. Dennis Meis 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 3-0
Paul Kolodziej Preliminary Plat - Gary Kolodziej abstained. Dennis Meis moved to approve the Preliminary Plat for Paul Kolodziej Jr. on County Road X. Maurice King seconded the motion. Motion passed. 2-0
Comprehensive Plan – Zoning Map – No action until concerned citizen is contacted.
Slow-No-Wake – Maurice King contacted adjacent Towns will hold a joint meeting.
Ordinance No. 2009-1 - Ordinance No. 2009-1, an ordinance to adopt the comprehensive plan and proposed zoning map of the Town of Dewey, Portage County, Wisconsin. No action until we receive the completed plan back from the county.
Zoning Map – No action until we receive the updated map.
Correspondence was reviewed.
Maurice King gave a brief report on Town activities. Finished crack sealing. Will be grading, cutting shoulders and patching blacktop.
Treasurers and Clerks reports for May were reviewed and balanced.
Bills were approved and paid
Meeting dates – June 30 BOR July 15, 2009
Adjournment – Dennis Meis motioned to adjourn at 9:23pm. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
