Town Board Meeting

Maurice King called the meeting to order at 6:30pm
Agenda Items
Minutes- William Kolodziej read the minutes from the January 4, 2012 meeting. Dennis Meis motioned to accept the minutes. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0

Citizens wishing to address the Town Board – Maurice King provided information regarding property assessment questions from residents (Dennis Adamski, Jerry Fitzgerald).

Resolution NO. 1-2012 – Dennis Meis moved to tentatively approve Resolution NO. 1-2012, a resolution to tentatively approve the revised Chapter 5, Road Ordinance, of the Town of Dewey Municipal Code of Ordinances. Gary Kolodziej seconded the motion. Motion passed. 3-0

Weight Limit Permits - Gary Kolodziej moved to approve the revised permits for weight limit restriction exemptions. Dennis Meis seconded the motion. Motion passed. 3-0

Remodeling the Town Hall – The Board discussed a possible building addition to the Town Hall. Maurice King will look into the project.

2012 Road Projects - The board discussed 2012 road projects. Reconstruction of Dewey Drive (from Maple south ¼ mile) and Sunset Drive (South of the Bridge); Patching on Torun Road; Remove stumps on Maple Drive.

Correspondence was reviewed.

Maurice King gave a brief report on Town activities. Brushing near completion.

Treasurers and Clerks reports for December were reviewed and balanced.

Bills – Dennis Meis moved to approve unpaid bills. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 3-0

Meeting dates – January 25th

Adjournment – Dennis Meis motioned to adjourn at 7:50pm. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
