Maurice King called the meeting to order at 7:00pm
Agenda Items
Minutes - William Kolodziej read the minutes from the April 1st 2009 meeting. Dennis Meis motioned to accept the minutes. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0

Citizens wishing to address the Town Board – Leonard Kawleski provided information regarding a scholarship offered through the Wisconsin Towns Association. The information is available on the Wisconsin Towns Association Web site.

Goldenrod Lane – Maurice King read the attached letter from Attn. Gary Drier. Attn. Louis Molepsky provided information he gathered from Gary Drier before the meeting. Gary Kolodziej moved to make a new record of a highway being Goldenrod Lane in the Town of Dewey, Portage County, WI pursuant to Wis. Stats. 82.33 and Maurice King will look into the setback of the electrical panel and an exception to the right of way will be granted if nessessary. Motion failed due to lack of a second. Stats. 82.33 and he will look into the setback of the electrical panel and an exception to the right of way will be granted if necessary and to grant a license Robert Fenske and successor and assigns to utilize the center pivot as it exist today on the road right of way. Gary Kolodziej seconded the motion. Motion passed. 3-0

Town Property Logging – Kent Glazer from the DNR was present and helped with the proposed logging project. Dennis Meis moved to send bid request out for logging the town property. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion Passed. 3-0

1989 Dump Truck – Maurice King moved to have Dennis Meis put the truck on Craigs List and to park it by the road and to put it in the Shoppers Herold. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 3-0

Old Office Equipment – Maurice King moved to have the Treasurer take the old Town Computer and old copier. Gary Kolodziej 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 2-1 Dennis Meis opposed

2009 Road Work – The board will wait until after road inspections to make decisions.

Correspondence was reviewed.

Maurice King gave a brief report on Town activities. Patching potholes. Snow fence is down. Grading roads.

Treasurers and Clerks reports for March were reviewed and balanced.

Bills were approved and paid

Meeting dates – April 22nd and 27th at 5:00

Adjournment – Gary Kolodziej motioned to adjourn at 9:05pm. Dennis Meis 2nd the motion. Motion carried 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
